On May 14th, District Administration of Udhampur, has provided immediate help and reliefs to the victims of flood cloudburst in Chenani and Kud area. He provided assistance for reconstruction of houses moreover, he offered help ad compensation for the loss of inflicted due to livestock perished and crops damaged. The government has decided to offer an amount of Rs. 34.66 lakh to six families for the loss of livestock.

In Srinagar, a lecture was conducted in the Government Degree College Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District to encourage the young blood of the area to take part in the Indian Army. This was done by Kalapahar Brigade of Army in consonance with initiatives of Chinar Corps. The thought behind this lecture was to make people aware about the importance of joining Army and to serve the nation.
