Zoraster ws founder of Zoroastrianism lived from 628 to 551 BCE. He was expert in Yasna Haptanghaiti, Gathas and hymns. He was a cobbler and lived by the Bactria rivers (Central Asia) and at the age of 30 he became preacher of monotheism. As there are many stories of prophet’s death but no one knows which is true. Some says he was murdered at the age of 77, due to his opposition against Daaevas. Some says he was killed by Turanian army or another says he was died while sleeping after living to a ripe old age. It’s a great mystery yet although all the tales are not reliant on divinity.
It is a solemn occasion of mourning with lectures and discussions held on the life and works of the prophet. Special prayers are recited and attendance at the fire temple is very high round the globe in remembrance of Prophet. Zoroastrians try to follow the three tenets of Zoroaster i.e good thoughts, good words and good deeds. Day is considered to be somber.
