To descent of the Holy Spirit on Jesus Christ’s disciples, the feast of Pentecost is celebrated on a large scale by the Christian people. The fest of Pentecost is also known as Pentecost Sunday and Whit Sunday. In the different parts of the world, this occasion is celebrated with excitement and enthusiasm. It is considered to be the most joyous moment for many Christians around the globe. In many churches, special activities and services are organised for the devotees to make them familiar with the celebration of Pentecost, its history and the significance of the festival.

Pentecost is the most popular festival when Christians celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is celebrated on the Sunday 50 days after Easter.
