Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth of the Vanara god Lord Hanuman, which is widely venerated by the Hindu throughout the country. Hanuman is a fervid devotee of the Hindu most ideal Lord Rama and worshipped for his loyal devotion to their Lord. In early morning, devotees visit nearby temples to worship Lord Hanuman.

Hanuman Jayanti is also famous as Chaitra Purnima, which is celebrated on the bright moon day of the Hindu calendar month of Chaitra, which falls in month of April and May as per the English Georgian calendar

Hanuman Jayanti is one of the famous Hindus festival celebrated as the birthday of Lord Hanuman, who is the symbol of power, strength, and energy. Hanuman is the Hindu super hero, having super natural magical power protect the Mankind and conquer devil spirits.
On this auspicious day people observe the fast and visit nearby Hanuman temples to worship their God and apply red tilaka (vermillion)of sindoor to their heads and read Hunuman Chalisa and offer Laddoo as Prasad in front of Hanuman’s idol and do Arti by chanting tantra and mantra and sing the Arti songs .After completing puja, devotees apply red tilika (vermillion) to their own and other foreheads as a blessing and distribute Prasad Laddoo among people.
On Hanuman Jayanti, the spiritual discourses at temples started at dawn as per the mythology Lord Hanuman was born at early sunrise. At this break of time the spiritual discourse at temple is stopped and the offering of Prasad is distributed among devotees.
Spiritual discourses are organized in almost all the Hindu temples of lord Hanuman on this day.It is believed lord Hanuman was one of the most powerful among the three people (Heaven people, Hell people, and Land people), because all the Gods had blessed him at the age of half year after birth.
